Senior Team Play
The San Diego County Senior League is more than 50 years old. You can find more information about the league and the teams here: https://mrgstaging.com/sdcs/index.html. Its regular season goes from March through September followed by playoffs. There are 15 teams in the league and each team plays a home and away match against the other 14 teams with 6 players on each team in each match. Our team has a history of doing very well in this league. In fact, we can’t remember the last season we did not make the playoffs. We were regular season champs in 2024.

SCGA Team Play
Southern California Golf Association organizes a short season from January thru March. Each league has four teams and each team plays a home and away match against three opponents with 16 players on each team. Coronado’s league includes Steele Canyon, San Vicente and Torrey Pines. Since 2023, Coronado has not had a losing record. Our team won the league in 2024, defeated Balboa in the first round playoffs and lost a tight second round match to El Camino CC. In the 2026 season, Coronado started with 4 wins and needed to tie or win one of the final two matches to win the league. Unfortunately, we lost the final match by the narrowest of margins ending our season.
